Ian Skippen appearing on the Today show live from Australia Zoo in Queensland with Bindi and Terri Irwin. (Friday April 7, 2017) and Today Extra (Monday April 17, 2017)
FORMER ABC breakfast radio presenter Spencer Howson has announced he is returning to broadcasting, joining event podcasting company Pop Up Radio. Howson will join a host of well-known names in the industry involved in the company, including Loretta Ryan, Lexi Hamilton-Smith and Ian Skippen. It comes after he left his post with the ABC late last year after 11 years hosting the breakfast timeslot.
Anthony Frangi & Ian Skippen have over 70 years of radio between them. Some could say it is in their blood. So when circumstances changed they took their love of radio and created a new concept called Pop Up Radio (as an ex radio girl, I looove this concept). I spoke to Anthony Frangi to hear how their concept was developed and why it’s such a great idea. (December, 2016)

Brand new to the business events product offering in Brisbane is Pop Up Radio Australia, an online station that provides live radio streams and podcasts on event-related content to conference participants at the venue, in regional locations or anywhere in the world. As its name suggests, the Pop Up Radio station is set up at the conference venue and inclusions are customised to the needs of the event such as on-air branding, sponsorship opportunities, panel discussions and more.  (June, 2016)
They have helped rule Brisbane’s airwaves for decades, but now radio duo Ian Skippen and Anthony Frangi are going niche. The broadcast veterans late last year formed Pop Up Radio, a new venture that targets Brisbane’s burgeoning convention and conference industry. ( Courier Mail - March, 2016)
Fancy a radio station broadcasting live from your next Brisbane conference? The duo behind this Australian first can make it happen. Brisbane radio identities Ian Skippen and Anthony Frangi have joined forces in an exciting new venture that could revolutionise the city’s conference and business event market. (November, 2015)
So you've sorted everything from landing a stellar speaker line-up to styling the venue - but now you're looking for something a little extra to wow your speakers and guests. Whether it's a fun corporate experience or something more left-of-centre, Brisbane has you covered. Give your event buzz with our list of cool and unconventional services you might never have heard of. (October, 2015)
Two Brisbane radio identities have joined forces in a new venture aimed squarely at the city’s busy conference and business event market. Pop Up Radio is an Australian first which could completely change the dynamic of your next meeting or conference. Between them, Ian Skippen and Anthony Frangi have worked for all the major radio networks on both sides of the dial.
